An excellent sealer that penetrates the pores of wood and prevents sink age of topcoat to allow good hold out.

Application Description
Apply 2-3 coats of KONTA SURFACE SHINE Sealer and leave between coats for 2-3 hours.

Highly flammable. Harmful by inhalation & in contact with skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe solvent vapor/spray. Keep the container in a well-ventilated place. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system & skin. Keep away from food, drink & animal feeding stuff. Contains Aromatic & Aliphatic solvents. Wear suitable protective clothing & gloves. Avoid contact with eyes & skin. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water & seek medical advice. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Wear suitable protective equipment during sanding. Dry sanding of the dry paint film will give rise to paint and wooden dust, such surfaces should be sanded with wet sanding paper. If swallowed rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious) & show this container or label to a medical practitioner. In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AF, and CO2 never use water. Very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Do not empty into drains. Dispose of any paint following the appropriate environmental regulations. Tips & Advice
  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New or Bare Surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, and wax. Scuff the surface in the direction of grains and dust off.
    Previously Painted Surfaces: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from all defective and poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, and wax. Scuff the surface in the direction of the grains and dust off
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with ICI KONTA Woodcare Special Thinner immediately after use.
  • 3. Storing
    Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
