Product Description

KONTA EXTERIOR PAINT is a highly durable, water-based emulsion paint. Its unique Anti-Peel formulation ensures that the paint film remains intact, and its extra Coverage Formula covers a longer area in the same quantity of paint. Chroma Brite UV Fight keeps exterior wall color looking fresh for longer. Easy to apply, this emulsion also protects against fungal and algal growth giving your home a beautiful look that lasts longer.

Application Description

Apply 3-4 coats of KONTA Exterior Emulsion with 2-3 hrs of interval in between coats. The thinning ratio must be followed as per the application procedure.

Health & Safety

Treatments such as sanding, burning off, etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well-ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Lift with care – gross weight exceeds 10kg Wear eye/ hand protection. Do not breathe vapors/spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage. Keep away from food, drinks, and animal feed. Store in a cool and shaded place. The container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Do not empty into the water course. Safety data sheet available for professional/ user on request. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Precautionary Statements Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have a product container or label at hand. Do not get in the eyes, on the skin, or clothing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. Dispose of contents and containers by all local, regional, national, or international regulations.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces

New or bare surfaces New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from efflorescent salts. Scuff the surface with suitable sandpaper or sandstone to make the plaster surface smooth. Dust off thoroughly. Remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush and dust off. Treat any area affected by mold, lichens, or algae with bleach. Scuff the surface with suitable sandpaper and dust off. Powdery, dusty surfaces, cracks & other surface defects Fix minor defects. For large holes and cracks, use sand and cement mixture. Remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing it down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush and dusting it off. Treat any area affected by molds, lichens, and algae with bleach. Allow the surface to dry & prepare the surface as described above.
